PM 2-8-0 #299 in 1937

 

The PM's Class C-2 2-8-0s were some of the lighter and more "classic" looking 2-8-0s on the roster. The low tender, similar to those delivered with some of the PM's 4-6-2s, makes it look much taller than it is.

Number 299 is shown here somewhere in eastern Michigan in 1937.
