Waybill for Shipment of Three New Buicks - September, 1941

This waybill, issued on September 16, 1941, is for shipment of three new Buicks from the General Motors plant in Flint, Michigan to a GM sales agent in Memphis, Tennesee.

Loaded into PM boxcar #90712, the automobiles would traverse the PM to Belfast, Indiana, on the PM's LaCrosse Branch, where the car was set out for the Nickel Plate, which took the car to East St. Louis, Illinois, where it handed the car over to the Frisco for movement to Memphis. The various stamps on the form show how it progressed along this route.
