Pere Marquette Rails

Pere Marquette Rails was a long-form historical publication. In 2002, the PMHS published two issues.

Number 13

Railway Mail Service on the Pere Marquette 1900-1947 by John W. Rothwell
This issue is devoted to an examination of Railway Post Office service on the Pere Marquette. Written by John Rothwell, who worked aboard the C&O's RPOs, this is a fairly complete overview of the PM's mail handling, profusely illustrated with photos and RPO schedules.

Wreck at East Paris - West Michigan's Worst Railway Disaster by Art Million
The story of the December 26, 1903 head-on collision between PM trains Number 5 and Number 6 at East Paris.
